The mission of the TWHS Fastpitch Booster Club is to provide financial support to the Highlander Softball program so that our athletes can train, develop and perform at a 6A State Championship level. Funds from the school district are limited and programs have to find their own ways to supplement their needs.  With integrated commitment from parents, individual donors and businesses throughout our community, this financial support provides the necessary resources that make it possible for our players to turn their championship dreams into a reality.

The Woodlands High School Softball program is dedicated to developing student athletes and winning championships through Accountability, Tenacity, Teamwork, Attitude, Communication and Knowledge. The hard work and attention to detail resulted in the 2011 State and National Championship and consecutive State Tournament appearances in 2014 and 2015 along with Regional Final appearances 7 out of the last 11 years.  The program has won at least 30 games 6 out of the last 8 seasons including multiple district championships and are currently the reigning District 12-6A Champions.  Individual accolades are routinely bestowed upon many players in the program including national, regional, state and district awards as well as college scholarships to continue their playing careers and education at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Dartmouth, UCLA, Tennessee, Baylor, etc.

Building great ball players is one thing, but Highlander Softball is about building great people.  Off the field, the girls have volunteered countless hours to various charities and community service organizations to serve others and lend a helping hand.  Because of their hard work and dedication to everything the program is about, the Fastpitch Booster Club rewards each and every graduating senior in the program who applies with a scholarship.  This is one of our great family traditions and is presented at the team banquet that honors the players and coaches and recognizes their highlights and efforts during the season.  Another tradition associated with Highlander Softball is our home field advantage.  The reactions of visiting teams cannot be understated when they enter our complex and see the facilities and accolades spread throughout and step on Highlander Field.  Whether it’s at home or on the road, when the girls step on the field in their uniforms, they like to make a statement and our school’s unique color scheme allows them to do just that.  When players dress like champions, they play like champions.  But it’s not all about just looking the part.  Teams have to be play good competition to challenge themselves and get better and the Highlanders do that every chance they get.  Anyone, anytime, anywhere.  That’s our mantra and this often requires travel in and out of state to do just that.  All of these items are the reason sponsorships are critical to keeping the strength and success of the softball program moving forward by donating to the TWHS Fastpitch Booster Club.  We need funding for the scholarships, to maintain and improve the facilities, to buy new uniforms and to travel to tournaments and games.

Every player represents this community with spirit, determination and talent.  We welcome you to make a real difference in the lives of these special young ladies.  We truly value and appreciate the generosity of our sponsors.  You become part of the TWHS softball family.  We encourage you to attend the exciting games, cheer for the energetic players, feel the pride and see the positive rewards of your investment.  We thank you for considering a partnership with our program and hope that we see you at Highlander Field in the spring!
